Bring On The Teardrops
Turns out I write a lot of songs about crying. Where the Dean Martin tinge came from in this one, I have no earthly idea.

One little teardrop ain't all that bad
Just a liquid reminder of all the love you had
Two little teardrops and the truth starts to show
Next come the waterworks: look out below

Bring on the teardrops
Let the crying begin
Came into this world a-wailing
It's been raining ever since
The only way around heartache
Is to never love at all
So bring on the teardrops
Let 'em fall, let 'em fall

When the darling of your dreams gives your heart a tug
Tuck away in a casa d'amor like two bugs in a rug
Enter Mr. Teardrop with a bunch of his friends
They're always part of the story no matter how it ends

Bring on the teardrops
Let the crying begin
Came into this world a-wailing
It's been raining ever since
The only way around heartache
Is to never love at all
So bring on the teardrops
Let 'em fall, let 'em fall

Downpours, waterfalls, cataracts, rivulets
Waterspouts, deluges, torrents and streams

Bring on the teardrops
Let the crying begin
Came into this world a-wailing
It's been raining ever since
The only way around heartache
Is to never love at all
So bring on the teardrops
Let 'em fall, let 'em fall
